The Bailiffs and Court Security Division plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and efficiency of Cape Girardeau County's judicial system.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining courtroom security and order
Serving and distributing civil process paperwork
Providing protection to judges, jurors, attorneys, and the public
Assisting with the transport and supervision of detainees in court
Responding to courtroom disturbances or emergencies


Bailiff Unit

The Bailiffs are responsible for civil process services and ensuring smooth courtroom operations.
