Sheriff Ruth Ann Dickerson

Sheriff Ruth Ann Dickerson leads the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Office with a commitment to public safety, professionalism, and community service. Under her leadership, the Sheriff's Office ensures law enforcement, detention, court security, and emergency response operations function effectively across the county.

Command Staff

The Sheriff's Office is structured with one Chief Deputy, one Captain, one Jail Administrator, four Lieutenants, and seven Sergeants, each overseeing daily operations.
